A must read for any modern investor

A great playbook for participating in the growth markets of the future, and a thoroughly enjoyable read throughout.
Aside from actually spending time on the ground in these frontier markets yourself, the only way to truly appreciate their potential and the massive changes taking place there are through the eyes and experience of someone who has. This book details those journeys and experiences with a rare combination of insight and tangible examples to give the reader a unique perspective into why these markets are important for every investor and follower of financial markets to pay attention to for decades to come.
Highly recommend this book.

Hard facts for new markets

I have heard of all the investors making money on all these new foreign markets (like China or Vietnam or else where in Asia). While I’ve been interested I never knew how to approach it. I read some of the Jim Rogers books and they were ok (fun travel stories).
I think I liked this even more; it gave me some really good hard facts to show how new markets can out perform the US/Europe markets I’m familiar with. And I found his case studies really made it easier to follow.

Serious topic AND fun to read

Every time I hear about (or see the country name on a product label) some new hot country I wonder how I could invest in these new markets. This book makes me feel pretty confidant that others (including me) can indeed share in the growth of some of these new countries.
I found this book very easy to pay attention to and understand. I never got bored (which happens often in investing books). The content is serious but is presented more in the form of stories and vignettes and examples. This kept my attention and I learned a lot.
I would love to visit some of these "frontier markets"; not as a leisure tourist but following the author's approach to get on the ground and see what is going on.
