In addition, this book also has a chapter on on-line algorithms. Each on-line algorithm is introduced by first describing the basic principle behind it. Amortized analysis is a new field in algorithm research. In this book, detailed descriptions are given to introduce this new and difficult-to-understand concept.

About the Author

R. C. T. Lee received his B. Sc. degree from the Department of Electrical Engineering of National Taiwan University and Ph. D. degree from the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from University of California, Berkeley. He is a professor of both the Computer Science and Information Engineering Department and Information Management Department of National Chi Nan University. Professor Lee is an IEEE fellow. He co-authored Symbolic Logic and Mechanical Theorem Proving, which has been translated into Japanese, Russian and Italian.

S. S. Tseng and R. C. Chang both received their B. Sc. and Ph. D. degrees from the Department of Computer Engineering, National Chiao Tung University. Both of them are professors in the Department of Computer and Information Science, National Chiao Tung University, Taiwan.

Y. T. Tsai received his B. Sc. degree from the Department of Computer and Information Science of National Chiao Tung University and Ph. D. degree from the Department of Computer Science of the National Tsing-Hua University. He is presently an associate professor in the Department of Information Science and Management of the Providence University.

A good book of algorithms design.

If you are looking for an updated text focused on algorithm design, this is the one you should read. Examples and exercises are great, even when they are not very used in other texts. The style could be polished. For example, the pseudo code could be easier to read.

About the Author
Jenni Ogden, Ph.D., FRSNZ, FNZPS, worked as a university professor, researcher and practitioner in the fields of clinical psychology and neuropsychology for 27 years. I wish she had more books out there!

Ms. Ogden's writing has a touch of Oliver Sacks-like quality. Not only does she describe each patient's clinical assessment in terms of scores on neuropsychological testing batteries, but she also describes the processes by which the patients cope with their medical problems and how they affect their lives. The patients are seen as human beings overcoming difficulties, rather than anonymous cases. A great book for those interested in clinical neuropsychology. This book was also be very useful as a text book, as it describes medically what's happening to each patient as well as how it affects them behaviorally on neuropsychological testing and socially in their everyday lives.

Interesting and very informative

For several years, I have used this book for an undergraduate class I teach on Neuropsychology. The chapters, which each focus on a distinct type of brain damage or disorder, are well written and a relatively easy read. They also do an excellent job of covering the science of what causes each type of damage and why the damage impacts behavior the way that it does. My students seem to really enjoy each chapter and Ogden's discussion of her patients stimulate a great deal of discussion in class. This is a great read

Dr. Ogden brings to life the case study approach. She writes well, clear and is informative. She gives us basic definitions in neurology and spells them out clearly; the difference between alexia and dyslexia, for example. She focuses on the machinery at the neurologists disposal and the testing battery of the neuropsychologist. She tells how each person tends to be one minute normal, the next, no so. She follows closely how something like neurotoxicity develops, a people cope with neurological illness and follows them in treatment. The book is full of learning material. I highly recommend it to the practicing psychologist or neuropsychologist, or someone curious about how the brain functions.

Great Book and Youtube tutorials!

- As the title says, covers the key processes that you will need using SharePoint
- Recommended for people just starting to learn SharePoint
- Simply goes through the steps to achieve a goal at each section, without much wording
- I finished all exercises within 2 days.
- Prepares you to explore more out there in SharePoint world
- Big plus is official Youtube videos which helps when you feel you are stuck. It actually helped me a couple of times.
- Another great thing was I asked a technical question in Youtube comment section. I received a response in a hour! This itself is worth more than the price I paid for the book!!
- Small minus is the book needs some proof reading. There are some sections copied&pasted and left some words unchanged. (For example, Step3, sub-step 2, at page 71, "Project" should be replaced with "Contoso Doc, Contoso Presentation, and Contoso Spreadsheet". At page 75, sub-step 8, the line has a sentence "Step 3, create a "Spain" calendar app." that is actually unused in the exercise.At page 59, sub-step 6, it should be 'Content Search' instead of 'Content Query' (the screenshot is wrong too). At page 57, Step 15, Sub-step 6, it should be "Support Projects" instead of "Production Projects"
- That being said, I think this is a great book overall.

And so I would recommend it to someone who wants to learn about NonDuality ...

This book seems to be targeted towards Christians who are beginners in NonDuality. The author cherry picks Biblical quotes to support his teachings. As someone who is steeped in the NonDual literature, I had hoped for a more in-depth study of scripture from a NonDual perspective, but didn't find it here. And so I would recommend it to someone who wants to learn about NonDuality without needing to refer to Eastern sources, but I would not recommend it if you want a NonDual exegesis of the Biblical text. As far as I know, that book hasn't been written yet, and perhaps the Bible can't sustain that kind of analysis, since most of it is very Dualistic, with the exception of some of Jesus's teachings.

Great stories

This collection of books was a great read. Rich in plots that flowed well and had me guessing what will happen to the very end. I was glued to the page if these well written stories. It also had just the right amount of tactfully written but no less steamy sex scenes for my taste ;) I look forward to reading more from this author. Bravo!

I bought the Witchblade Chronicles because the price was right and I am very happy I did. I'm not much for historical novels on the whole, but the author does a fine job of telling the tale of two witches and the possible consequences during a time when witchcraft was a burning offense.

The Witchbalde Chronicles was an easy and delightful read with action, romance, and tastefully written erotica. I enjoyed the read!

Every book I have read by CJ Archer has been very enjoyable. The stories take you through twists and turns. Highland and low emotions. All the books were great to read.
